I have walked around downtown Lancaster at least 100 times, and I never knew about this spot until just a few weeks ago. It is definitely worth stopping in – they don’t have a ton to offer, but what they have is unique and generally tasty. I enjoyed their black bean brownie – don’t let the name fool you, it is very flavorful and chocolatey in all the ways you would expect a soft, dense brownie to be. I was also impressed with their drink options; they have several made-to-order beverages from around the world, including sherbet and Horchata. This is a great place to stop in for a quick drink and an on-the-go snack. The space itself is open and well lit, so you could definitely sit for a while and enjoy the uncrowded atmosphere.

Nolan is awesome and so is the atmosphere. Great place to feel welcome regardless of race or gender. Mango Lassi was great.

As a connoisseur of coffee shops, I can confidently rate the many cafes that richly populate Lancaster city and help make it such a wonderful place to live, and much to my delight, I recently discovered a new café on Prince Street, adjacent to downtown—part of its charm. I work better out of the house, so I am always looking for comfortable places that accommodate laptop-squatters, offer inexpensive coffee and provide accessible power! And because of the comfortable environment, the quality of the coffee, the friendliness of the staff and the location, Neighbors Café is now one of my favorite places to work. As its name implies, Neighbors Café opened with a mission to build and facilitate community and does so by providing services and events to promote and teach communication—the essential foundation upon which good communities are built—so I not only enjoy their services and accommodations but also feel good supporting their business. Neighbors hosts language classes, cultural events and facilitates discussion groups, and the founders follow a business model that gives back to the city: volunteers teach classes in the meeting rooms, they create a safe space for everyone and they even boast a solar cell on the roof to partially power the café with renewable energy. If there’s a power outage, they’ll satisfy your craving for morning joe. And it’s tasty coffee. They also make a variety of hot and cold drinks and offer a menu of locally baked pastries including scones and breads along with soup, salad and other lunch specials. If you’re looking for a place to go on the weekends away from the tourist deluge, walk down Prince Street to Neighbors Café: a place where the residents can enjoy a nice cup of coffee, a comfortable environment and a space where you can chat with friends, get some work done or find the resources to better yourself. Neighbors Café is our café.

Neighbors cafe is a new cafe in Lancaster as of 2024. It is run by a few good guys that I got to chat with for a bit. Their coffee is good and I liked the warm atmosphere. I didn’t try any of their specialty drinks, just the drip coffee. Because the place is so long there are tons of window seats you can people watch from. Check it out!

Nice community place. We just got coffee and talked. Good place. Not noisy. We want to go back. Third Friday of each month in the evening, they host a free Spanish language conversation practice gathering. There's a French group another time.

Best café around! Nolan is awesome, he made me a campfire cocoa that was so good I made him a groomsmen in my wedding. It was the only appropriate reaction to such a delectable hot chocolate

I needed a decent space to meet a colleague so we could chat and crochet. I wasn't expecting too much, but had heard good things about Neighbors. Walked in and it was bustling (in a good way)! Only one employee behind the counter, but he was holding his own. I regretfully didn't catch his name, but his manager needs to give him a raise right now!
